Any other use is considered as an instance of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be responsible for any damage or injury caused by such misuse. Remember that this device has not been designed for commercial or industrial use.

    - Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock - When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock - If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply.

    OPERATING 1. Preset the cutting blade length. The graduation on the bracket indicates the cutting length. 2. Plug the Power Cord Plug into a suitable volt, grounded, electrical outlet. 3. Turn on the Power Switch to heat up the Blade. The Blade will reach the pre-set operating temperature in several minutes and will remain at the temperature selected.

    INTENDED USE Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), Extruded Polystyrene (XPS), Polyethylene, Cross-Linked, Polyethylene, Polypropylenes, and many other foamed plastics and materials can be easily cut with Hot Knife. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. - Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.

    - Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. - Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.

    CAUTION: Do not leave the device turned on for too long. The high temperature could buckle the plastic and injure the operator. It is recommended after about three minutes to turn off the device for at least 30 seconds. NOTE: For the best results, first do a test cut. CAUTION: - Consult foam manufacturer's MSDS sheet for flash points and toxicity of material to be cut.
