This ultimate multi-use infrared thermometer is here to deliver accurate temp checks in one second.
The 3-in-1 Ear, Forehead + Touchless Thermometer has a color-coded screen and optional sound
alarm to alert you when fevers spike. Seamlessly move from in-ear temp checks when baby's
awake, to stealth forehead temp checks while baby's sleeping. In addition to tiny humans, this
thermometer works on adults, and even reads surface temperatures in touchless mode -- like the
bottle you're about to feed your feisty freeloader.

Warning:
Keep out of reach of children under 12 years.
Never immerse the thermometer into water or other liquids (not waterproof). For cleaning and disinfecting, please
follow the instructions in the "Care and Cleaning" section.
Never use the thermometer for purposes other than those it has been intended for. Please follow general safety
precautions when using on children.
Keep the thermometer away from direct exposure to the sun and keep it in a dust-free, dry, well-ventilated place
at a temperature between 50°F (10°C) - 104°F (40°C). Do not use the thermometer in high humidity environments.

Do not use the thermometer if there are signs of damage on the measuring sensor or on the instrument itself. If
damaged, do not attempt to repair the instrument! Please contact FridaBaby.
This thermometer consists of high-quality precision parts. Do not drop the instrument. Protect it from severe impact
and shock. Do not twist the instrument or the measuring sensor.
Please consult your doctor if you see symptoms such as unexplained irritability, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration,
changes in appetite or activity, seizure, muscle pain, shivering, sti neck, pain when urinating, etc., even in the
absence of fever.
Even in the absence of fever, those who exhibit a normal temperature may still need to receive medical attention.
People who are on antibiotics, analgesics, or antipyretics should not be assessed solely on temperature readings to
determine the severity of their illness.
Temperature elevation may signal a serious illness, especially in adults who are old, frail, have a weakened immune
system, or neonates and infants. Please seek professional advice immediately when there is a temperature elevation
and f you are taking the temperature of anyone who is:
• Over 60 years of age (Fever may be blunted or even absent in elderly patients)
• Has diabetes mellitus or a weakened immune system (e.g., HIV positive, cancer,
chemotherapy, chronic steroid treatment, splenectomy)
• Bedridden (e.g., nursing home patient, stroke, chronic illness)
• A transplant patient (e.g., liver, heart, lung, kidney)
This thermometer is not intended for preterm babies or small-for-gestational age babies. This thermometer is not
intended to interpret hypothermic temperatures. Do not allow children to take their temperatures unattended.
Clean the thermometer probe after each use.
Do not use the thermometer on newborns or for continuous temperature monitoring purposes.
Do not take a measurement while or immediately after nursing a baby.
Patients should not drink, eat, or be physically active before/while taking the measurement.

Directions
FOREHEAD READER OFF
Thermometer automatically switches to Ear Mode.
1. Press the big Power/Measure button for 1 second to turn the thermometer on. The LCD screen will show
the last measurement taken.
2. Select your "mode" by following the directions for ear, forehead or touchless use in the tables below.
3. Press and release the Power/Measure button for 1 second again.
4. Once the beep is heard, you can read the value. "T" indicates a temperature reading.
5. The device automatically shuts o after being unused for 10 seconds.
FOR EAR USE
1) Remove the forehead reader, automatically selecting Ear mode
2) Fit the probe snuggly into the ear canal.
WARNING:
Make sure that the ear is clean, with no earwax or obstructions.
The right ear reading may di er from the reading taken at the left ear. Always take the temperature in the
same ear.
Do not force the thermometer into the ear canal or the ear canal may get injured.
Be careful when taking the temperature on a child, whose ear canal is small.
Do not insert past the point where you feel resistance.
NOTE: Children under 1 year: Pull the ear straight back. Children over 1 to adults: Pull the ear up and back. Make
sure the ear canal is straight, so that the temperature probe can receive an infrared ray from the eardrum.
FOR FOREHEAD USE
1) With the forehead reader on, press the Mode/ Memory button to choose "Adult forehead mode"
Child forehead mode
2) Touch the forehead reader to the center of the forehead.
WARNING:
If the forehead area is covered with hair, sweat, or dirt, please clean the area beforehand to improve the
reading accuracy.
Always check if the lens is clean.
Always make sure the user and the thermometer have been in the same room for at least 30 minutes
prior to the measurement.
NOTE: The forehead measurement is an indicative reading. The measured forehead temperature can fluctuate up to
1°F/0.5°C from your actual body temperature. Please be aware of the factors that influence the accuracy as
described in the "**Normal body temperature / Fever indicator" and "Warning" sections.
FOR TOUCHLESS USE
Note: This mode is ONLY for measuring the temperature of the room or an object. Not for body temp checks.
1) Press the Mode/ Memory button to choose the house icon
2) Hold the thermometer about 1-3 cm (0.39-1.18 inches) away from the object.
TEMPERATURE READING
Forehead or Ear:
Normal temperature: 89.6°F - 99.5°F (32°C - 37.5°C)
Indicator: Green light, one long beep
Low fever: 99.7°F -100.4°F (37.6°C - 38.0°C)
Indicator: Orange light, 3 short double-beeps.
High fever: 100.6°F - 109.2°F (38.1°C - 42.9°C)
Indicator: Red light, 3 short double-beeps.
It is recommended that 3-5 measurements in the same location be taken and the highest one taken as the reading
in the following situations:
Newborn infants in the first 100 days.
Children under three years of age with a compromised immune system and for whom the presence or absence
of fever is critical.
When the user is learning how to use the thermometer for the first time until they have familiarized themselves
with the instrument and obtained consistent readings.
Switch between Mute and Un-Mute: With the thermometer on, press the Measure/Mute-unmute button for 5 seconds.
F˚/ C˚ conversion: To change from Fahrenheit (F°) to Celsius (C°), Open the battery cover.
Use the toggle switch to change the °F/°C.
Memory mode: Press the Mode/ Memory button for 5 seconds to go to the memory mode. Press this
button again to check the 40 stored readings one by one. If no value has been saved, it will display "---".
NOTE: All stored readings are reset when the batteries are replaced.
Call your child's doctor right away if your child has a fever and:
Is younger than 3 months (12 weeks) and has a temperature of 100.4°F (38.0°C) or higher.
If, at any age, the fever rises above 104°F (40°C) repeatedly.
Battery Insertion and Replacement
First time use: 1) Pull battery door o and open battery chamber. 2) Insert two AAA batteries. 3) Slide battery
chamber back into place and reattach battery door.
Replacement: 1) Replace battery when appears in the lower right corner of LCD display. 2) Remove the old
batteries following the above instructions. Discard batteries lawfully. 3) Replace with two new AAA batteries.
Remove the batteries if the thermometer will not be used for more than two months.

Care and Cleaning

Use an alcohol swab or cotton swab moistened with 70% alcohol to clean the thermometer casing and the
