Introduction
Welcome to the SABRE family! This manual will guide you
through installing and using your Door Security Bar with Vibration
Detecting Alarm.
Follow the steps carefully to ensure your product performs
at its best.
What does the SABRE Door Security Bar do?
• The Door Security Bar offers enhanced security for hinged &
sliding doors.
Key Features
• Adjusts to fit most hinged and sliding doors.
• Made of 20-gauge steel for durability.
• Includes a 110dB vibration-detecting alarm to
alert you to potential intrusions.
Hinged Door Installation

1. Press silver release button towards the bottom of tube (1).
2. Slide the inner steel tube to desired length (2).
3. Rotate inner steel tube so that the silver release button locks into
adjustment hole (3).
4. Place the door knob cup firmly under door knob and slide the foot
towards the door until snug. The foot should be between 15" and 18"
(38.1 and 45.7 cm) away from the door (4).
5. Do not place the foot on loose rugs or floor mats.

• Hardwood Floors
• Title Floors
• Concrete Floors
• Vinyl or Laminate Floors
• Low-Pile Carpet
Sliding Door Installation

1. Remove door knob cup locking pin and pull
door knob cup out of steel tube (1). The door
knob cup is not needed for sliding door
installation.
2. Press silver release button towards the
bottom of tube (2).
3. Slide the inner steel tube to desired length (3).
4. Rotate inner steel tube so that the silver release
button locks into adjustment hole (4). When
properly adjusted, there should be enough slack in the fit so that the
SABRE® Home Series Door Security Bar can be quickly and easily
removed from sliding door track.
5. Place the SABRE Home Series Door Security Bar in sliding door track
so that the door cannot be opened (5).
