Introdurre l’astina reggicavo in uno dei piccoli fori su ciascun lato dell’asse da stiro e appendere il cavo del ferro. L’astina reggicavo mantiene il cavo del ferro lontano dal piano dell’asse per evitare che il cavo stesso sposti la biancheria durante la stiratura.

    BEFORE USE Before starting the appliance for the first time, always remember that an improper use, assembly or maintenance can be hazardous.   • Page 24 PREPARE YOUR IRONING BOARD POSITIONING When setting up the ironing board please note the following: • Place the ironing board on a flat, even, dry surface, near an earthed power socket. • Position the ironing board securely so that nobody can knock it over or get hurt.
  • Page 25 To assemble the iron rest pad proceed as follows: • Pull out the metal frame from the rear part of integrated steam generator. • Put the rest pad on the metal frame following the instruction on it’s reverse side. • Press the rest pad hard on the metal frame to ensure it is fixed properly. Insert the iron cord support in one of the small holes on each side of the ironing board and hang the iron steam cord.
  • Page 26 • Fill the bottle with ordinary tap water. • Put the bottle into the hole for filling the steam generator tank and push it down to release the water to go in. • Carefully screw in the safety cap without forcing it too much (tightening too hard is not necessary and may cause the gasket to wear out).

    STEAM EMISSION STEAM IRONING • To steam-iron push the “steam” button on the iron (10). Warning! The steam emitted is very hot. Danger of scalding! Note! The appliance may give out some smoke when using it for the first time. It is a technical issue that will cease after a short while.

    3 SUCTION/BLOWING FUNCTION AND HEATING OF THE BOARD The suction absorbs the excess steam, which is no longer used after the ironing process. The suction helps hold the garment on the ironing SELECTOR surface and helps to dry the garment. Garment ironed with this board are ready to be placed SWITCH straight in the wardrobe without further airing.

    PRÉPARATION DE L’APPAREIL INSTALLATION DE LA TABLE Pour placer la station de repassage, suivre les points suivants: • Mettre la planche à repasser sur une surface plate, stable, sèche et près d’une prise de courant. • Positionner la planche à repasser de façon que personne ne puisse la renverser ou se blesser.

    AUFSTELLEN DES GERÄTES POSITIONIERUNG Beim Aufbau der Bügelstation sollten Sie folgende Punkte beachten: • Wählen Sie zum Aufstellen des Bügeltisches eine ebene, stabile Fläche in der Nähe einer Stromsteckdose. • Wählen Sie den Standpunkt so, dass niemand das Gerät umstoßen oder sich daran verletzen kann.

    • Drücken Sie die Auflagefläche fest auf den Metallrahmen, um sicherzustel- len, dass sie richtig befestigt ist. Führen Sie die Bügeleisenhalterung in eines der kleinen Löcher auf beiden Seiten des Bügeltisch und hängen Sie das Bügeleisen-Dampfkabel auf. Die Eisenkordelstütze hält die Eisenkordel während des Bügelns von der Oberfläche der Bügeltisch fern, um zu vermeiden, dass sich das Kabel bewegt oder das Kleidungsstück ziehen.

    Nach dem Einschalten oder nach einer längeren Arbeitsunterbrechung sollten Sie den Dampf in die Luft richten aber nicht auf die Bügelwäsche, so dass möglicherweise entstandenes Kondenswasser ausgestoßen wird, ohne die Kleidung zu verschmutzen. Beim ersten Dampfstoß sinkt der Druck rapide. Dies ist keine Fehlfunktion, sondern ein völlig normales Verhalten.
