3. Saw blade height adjustment Turn the lift handle counterclockwise to raise the saw blade and turn the lift handle clockwise to lower the sawblade. 4. Positioning the ripping knife Remove the table insert. Raise the blade as high as it will go by turning the elevation wheel clockwise and set it perpendicular to the table (0° on bevel scale).

5. Replace the saw blade To reduce the risk of injury, using the correct blade! Turn elevation wheel clockwise until the blade is up as high as it will go. Remove table insert. Insert the open-head hex wrench onto the arbor shaft. While holding the first wrench, loosen the arbor nut counterclockwise with the the ring-head hex wrench.
