INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR DL300 and DL300L
The DL300 is a counter style frameless cabinet with double sliding doors. It does not
have adjustable shelves, but it has optional lights. It is a very sturdy, good quality
counter that can take the weight of a cash register, and show off its contents superbly.
It also has an option for wheels.
The box contains all the parts necessary for its assembly including tools, a picture of
the final product, and a parts diagram. All the contents of this cabinet are in a single
box.
ASSEMBLY
Assembly of the DL300 and DL300L is by way of brackets, screws (nuts) and bolts.
Owners of the DL300 (without the lights) can omit step 2 below.
One person can assemble the cabinet, but it can be helpful to have a second person
for various tasks.
It can be easier to clean the glass before, or as, the cabinet is assembled.
The screws supplied may have necks i.e. they are not threaded all the way to the top.
This is to help prevent them from being over-tightened on the glass. Be aware,
however, that where the screws do not go through glass, i.e. when they are going into
the base or the top, the screws will have to be tightened in such a manner that they
break the thread of the brackets and screw flush with the bracket.
It is intended that the screw heads be placed on the outside of the cabinet, and that
that nuts go on the inside.
Due to design improvements, the parts diagram supplied by the factory may differ the
cabinet you have received.
1. After unpacking the box, if wheels have been supplied, screw them into the
pre-drilled holes under the base. The base is the all-wooden component.
2. If you have purchased the DL300L (with lights), insert the light rods into the
appropriate holes in the base and connect the wires. This involves first
unscrewing the nut from the bottom end of the rods, poking the rod and the
wires through the appropriate holes in the base, and rescrewing the nut on to
the rod from under the base in order to hold it in place. ENSURE THAT A
THREE-SIDED CORNER BRACKET IS PLACED ON THE END OF THE
LIGHTING ROD BEFORE POKING IT INTO THE BASE. This bracket is used
to fix the bottom of the sides together, and to hold them on to the base. Once
this is done, use the small screw driver to connect the two wires into the
connector block that is preinstalled under the base. You may need to unscrew
the appropriate screws in the connector block a little in order to insert the wire.
Make sure the wires are held firmly in place by rescrewing the connector block
screws onto the wire.
