Park the tractor in a well-ventilated area, put the loader down along with all tractor attachments. . Disconnect tractor battery. . Remove the front left and right lower cab shields from cab. Take the loose rear shield and position between inner fender wells, with top sealing onto crossbar, and bottom going over top of the under-seat shield. Use the provided ¼” x ¾” flange bolts and nuts and bolt into place, one per side through the open holes in the shields and into tractor.

Use a flat screwdriver underneath the small clip on the end cap that must be pulled UP to pop the shock off the ball stud.

  • Page 21 August 2022© Massey 1800E ROPS Cab Installation Manual . Route the heater hoses into the engine bay, keeping away from hot surfaces and moving components. Route to the top fitting location first, cut hose and connect to open port with provided HS-6 hose clamp.

Take the left cab floormat and position onto the left floorboard of the tractor. Slide around pedals ensuring there is no interference with pedal range of motion.

All operators should familiarize themselves with control location and function prior to operating the tractor. Failure to do so may result in unsafe operation of the tractor and possible injury or death to operators and bystanders.
  • Page 33 The Tektite ROPS cab is wired to provide maximum protection against individual circuit overload. All optional components are fused internally behind the cab switch plate. 1800E ROPS Cab The 1800E cab is designed to provide ROPS protection along with reasonable winter weather protection.
