Once the hub has restarted you will need to configure Alexa to connect to the SmartPool. For this to work, your SmartPool and your Alexa device will need to be on the same WiFi network. To make the connection, simply ask Alexa to discover your devices by saying “Alexa, Discover Devices”.
You will need a very reliable WiFi connection and steady power supply to ensure that the update completes successfully. Read and follow the instructions on the SmartPool Support page to ensure there are no errors. Enter the following URL into your web browser and click on the Software update page for “SmartPool EcoSmart 400”.
TROUBLESHOOTING 1. POOR CONNECTIVITY The key to a reliable SmartPool operation is good WiFi connection. If the WiFi is not reliable in your pool house then the addition of a WiFi repeater will probably fix it. Low cost devices are available from any online retailer.
