    Power Up 1. Remove the Battery Cover screw using a screwdriver. Pull up firmly to open. 2. Insert 1-AAA alkaline battery (not included) according to polarity markings. 3. Use the °F/°C Switch to select your desired Temperature Display. 4. Replace the Battery Cover using the screw to secure it in place. Note: The Grill Thermometer is water-resistant and has a gasket around the battery cover that may make it difficult to remove easily.
  • Page 4 Point the IR Laser at your target and press and release the Button to freeze the temperature reading. The Icon will show. Note: The thermometer will shut off automatically when the temperature is reading less than 122°F (50°C) and no buttons have been pressed for 2 minutes.
