The IMPI device is intended to be worn on the belt or in a pocket on the upper torso of the body. The IMPI+ warns the user via “audible and visual indicators” (two warning channels) of nearby threats while the IMPI+V warns via audible, visual, and vibrating indications (three warning channels). If the gasket has been damaged, it must be replaced as a faulty gasket may not function as intended. It is important to keep in mind that Schauenburg does not charge the client for water damage under normal conditions. -

OTOR The vibrator motor has been introduced into the IMPI to create the IMPI+V (IMPI + Vibration) to add a third dimension for threat notification to the user of the device. The membrane houses a single button for the user to interface with the IMPI (Worker exclusion is the most used function of the input button). It is also important to note that are three different IMPI variants in use and the correct IMPI Membrane must be used for your requirements. -
