The Ultrasonic Power Generator SF610 combines both components in a compact device in combination with an efficient power supply. In addition, the SF610 has a number of safety features that can be very helpful in protecting the ultrasonic probes from overload.

The signal frequency can be tapped at the TTL output (11) as a square wave signal (0-5 V). At the SIGNAL output (13), the non-amplified generator signal is supplied according to the parameters set. When the SF610 is switched on, the signal generator always wakes up with the same initial setting (see Table 1).

Example of use In the following the procedure for operating the SF610 is described step by step using an example. The task is to operate a 2 MHz probe with sinusoidal 2 MHz bursts at a repetition frequency of 20 kHz and a burst length of 50 µs (100 oscillations per burst).
