    1. General 1.1. Introduction This “Assembly and Operating Instructions” document is designed for the Atacama unit (hereinafter the “unit” only), which is used to heat or cool a desired space with hot or cold air. Detailed familiarity with this document is important for the unit’s proper and safe assembly and operation.

    1.3. Using the Unit The Atacama heating unit is designed for heating or cooling (with cold water) and filtration of air in the indoor environment (filters can be ordered as accessories) of industrial halls, warehouses, sports facilities, workshops, and smaller plants.

    3. Assembly - Assembly of heating units in their working position 3.1. General information, recommendations, and safety during the Atacama unit assembly 3.1.1. Electrical safety before the unit assembly Before starting any assembly work, it is necessary to switch off the power supply to the prepared wiring for subsequent recovery of the unit.

    3.3. Ceiling Assembly O nly the ATA1-x-ECVxCL-0A0 (without assembly of the ATA-CONDENSATE-TRAY accessories for cooling) and ATA1-x-ECSODI-0A0 versions 3.4.     3.9.3. Vent (Drain) Valve The water inlet and outlet throats are marked with coloured dots on the water exchanger collectors. Red point - hot water inlet; blue point - return. The marking is made for the unit designed for heating. Use a 6-corner fitting on the water heat exchanger throat to tighten the piping connected to the unit.

    Wiring and Electrical Connections 3.10. 3.10.1. General Information – Safety The relevant wiring and electrical assembly of the units may only be carried out by persons qualified for this activity with valid authorization and knowledge of the relevant standards and guidelines. Before starting any assembly work, it is necessary to switch off the power supply to the prepared wiring for subsequent recovery of the unit.

Connection to the Mains Connection to the mains is recommended using a wiring box with the appropriate electrical protection class (depending on the assembly space).

    Setting the Directional Fins 3.11. This applies to the ATA1-x-ECVxCL-0A0 (with the option of installing the ATA-CONDENSATE-TRAY accessory for cooling) and ATA1-x-ECSODI-0A0 versions Adjust the exhaust fins by deflecting the fins in the front exhaust enclosure. The minimum fin deflection for proper operation of the unit is from 45°, which allows ideal direction of the blown air into the heated space.

    Check the other functions of the whole assembly according to the operating instructions of the selected controller. 7. Regular Maintenance and Cleaning of the Atacama Unit Before any maintenance and cleaning of the unit, the unit must be disconnected from the power supply and the heating water supply to the unit heat exchanger must be switched off.

    Regular maintenance must include: o Check the heat exchanger and clean it of dust and grease, if any. o Check the motor and fan (bearings), remove dust and grease from the protective basket and fan fins. o Checking all the bolt connections on the unit for tightness (e.g. bolts for fixing the unit to the bracket, wall mounting bolts), including checking for mechanical damage to the unit (e.g.

    8. Servicing Observe the generally applicable provisions for the country. During any servicing, the unit must be disconnected from the mains, and the heating water supply to the unit's heat exchanger must be switched off. Works must be carried out after the heat exchanger has cooled down. Any electrical service works must be carried out by a qualified person.
