Product Overview
The Pellet Strainer is an accessory for your smoker,
designed to collect burnt pellets from the water bin. This
tool enhances cleanability, helps maintain your smoker,
and helps prevent clogging of kitchen drains.

• Always ensure the smoker is cool and not actively
smoking before attempting to remove or clean the

Instructions for Use
Installation
• Place the pellet strainer inside the water bin of your
smoker with the upper grate facing the front of the bin/
unit before use.
During Use
• As you use the smoker, the Pellet Strainer will collect
burnt pellets, allowing water to drain into the water bin.
Post-Cooking
• After cooking, and once the smoker is cooled, lift the
Pellet Strainer out of the water bin.
• Dispose of the collected burnt pellets in the trash.
• With the Pellet Strainer removed, empty any remaining
water from the water bin into a sink or suitable drain.
• Ensure that the strainer is clear of all debris to prepare
it for next use.
• Place Pellet Strainer back into water bin and reinstall it
into smoker. Ensure water bin is filled prior to next use.

Alternative Cleaning Method:
• Bring the water bin and Pellet Strainer to your
kitchen sink.
• Carefully pour out the water through the top portion of
the strainer. This method helps ensure that burnt pellets
are caught by the strainer and do not enter the drain.
• Once water is drained, dispose of the pellets in
the trash.
Care and Maintenance
• Rinse the strainer with warm water after each use to
remove any residue.
• Wash with mild, soapy water if necessary. Use a
non-abrasive sponge to avoid damage.
• Dry thoroughly after cleaning to help prevent rust
and ensure longevity.
