DECO gas fire 302720 version 3.3 4. On-site requirements To install a DECO gas fire, the following requirements must be met: 4.1 Fireplace The fireplace must be made of non-combustible material. All devices for reducing the chimney delivery pressure must be removed or blocked in the open position - unless national regulations to the contrary exist. -

We are happy to help. 4.5 Gas connection The DECO gas fire is factory- set to the type of gas ordered ( earth or Liquefied gas ). A gas pipe must be provided to supply the required type of gas. The design must be based on consumption and the on-site conditions. -

4.7 Precautions for installing the IR receiver The DECO gas fire is controlled with an IR remote control [O] (item no. 12.259). The receiver (item no. 12.248) for the IR signals is connected to the burner control via cable [J]. -

DECO gas fire 302720 version 3.3 An appropriate option must be provided for laying the IR cable and installing the IR receiver. The IR cable must not be crushed or touched by hot parts. For example, it must not be carried out under the support frame [B]. -

Never place wood directly on the pilot burner. This can affect the ignition. There would also be a risk that an ignition electrode could be bent or broken if the wood was moved carelessly. -

If the AÜE does not react as described above, it is usually incorrectly positioned. In this case, please correct the position of the AÜE. As already mentioned, DECO gas fires are installed in individually designed fireplaces. Therefore, no absolute statement can be made about the exact position of the AÜE in these instructions. -
