BAT015 Battery Pack for LxT or 831

The BAT015 External Battery Pack can be
used with either four D cell batteries (1.5
volts), in one battery tray or eight D cell
batteries in both trays.
If using four D cell batteries, the batteries
can be loaded into either tray, but all
batteries must be in the same tray.
Instructions for use
 Insert the Model BAT015 contact rods into
the LxT or 831 sound level meter with the
orientation shown
 Insert batteries with the correct polarity
 Do not mix new batteries with used
batteries
 Do not mix batteries of different models or
from different manufacturers
 Disconnect the battery pack when not in use
for an extended period of time
 The runtime reported by the Model 831 or
SoundTrack LxT will be inaccurate when
using the BAT015
Failure to insert the battery
contact rods with the orientation
shown may result in a blown fuse.
