It can only opened by pushing the drawer front while the lock is in manual push open position. Lock Positions The key lock has 2 lock functions: the manual open which means pushing the drawer front will open the drawer.

DRAWER REMOVAL Open the cash drawer and remove the plastic coin and bill tray. Pull the drawer out until it stops, tip the front edge of the drawer up and pull the drawer out at an inclined angle. MAINTENANCE The cash drawer slides should be periodically cleaned and lubricated.
