AVANT L’USAGE S’assurer de la parfaite étanchéité des raccords en les serrant à fond. Reliez le tube d’aspiration et la tubulure de refoulement. Bien fixer le tuyau aux raccords d’aspiration et de refoulement au moyen des colliers (Fig. 1-2). Afin d’éviter d’endommager le corps de la pompe, ne remplacez pas les raccords originaux (compris dans l’équipment) par d’autres raccords de matériau différent.

Coupez toujours le moteur avant de procéder au ravitaillement. Ne faites jamais l'appoint de carburant lorsque le moteur tourne ou s'il est encore chaud.

Page 17 TUYAU D'ÉCHAPPEMENT (Fig. 45) Ce pot d'échappement est doté d'un catalyseur ce qui assure au moteur la conformité aux conditions sur les émissions requises. Ne jamais modifier ni déposer le catalyseur : tout modification est une violation à la loi. ATTENTION!!! Les pots d'échappement dotés de catalyseur deviennent très chauds durant l’utilisation et restent ainsi longtemps après avoir éteint le moteur.

STOCKAGE Lorsque l'appareil doit être entreposé pendant de longues périodes : Vidanger et nettoyer les réservoirs à carburant et huile dans un endroit bien aéré. Éliminer le carburant et l'huile conformément aux normes et en respectant l'environnement. Pour vider le carburateur, démarrer le moteur et en attendre l'arrêt (le fait de laisser du mélange dans le carburateur pourrait endommager les membranes).

Page 27 VEILIGHEIDSNORMEN Op de juiste manier gebruikt, is de gemotoriseerde pomp een snel, praktisch en efficiënt hulpmiddel; verkeerd gebruikt of zonder de nodige voorzorgsmaatregelen te nemen, kan het gevaarlijk zijn. Om ervoor te zorgen dat u altijd prettig en veilig kunt werken, moet u de WAARSCHUWING!!! veiligheidsmaatregelen die hier en in de handleiding worden beschreven nauwgezet in acht nemen.

5. Voorkom dat onbevoegden of dieren het werkgebied van de pomp kunnen betreden tijdens het opstarten en in bedrijf stellen (Fig.2). 6. Plaats de motorpomp in een stabiele positie (Afb.3). 7. VOOR GEBRUIK Zorg ervoor dat de aansluitingen perfect vastzitten door ze helemaal aan te draaien. Sluit de aanzuigslang aan op de afvoeraansluiting. Bevestig de slang aan de zuig- en persaansluitingen met de slangklemmen (Fig. 1-2). Vervang de fittingen niet om beschadiging van het pomphuis te voorkomen.
Page 30 Zuigslang Het moet van het stijve type zijn (bijvoorbeeld met een interne spiraal (B, Fig. 3). Het moet worden voorzien van een zeef of een zeef met terugslagklep en worden vastgezet met een klem (C, Fig.3). Om te voorkomen dat vuil het pomphuis binnendringt en schade aan de rotor veroorzaakt. BORING - Plaats de pomp zo dicht mogelijk bij het water.
Page 31 START-UP BRANDSTOF Benzine is een uiterst brandbare brandstof. Ga uiterst voorzichtig om met benzine of het brandstofmengsel. Rook niet en produceer geen vlammen in de buurt van benzine of de machine (afb.14). WAARSCHUWING!!! . Ga voorzichtig om met brandstof om het risico op brand en brandwonden te verminderen. Het is extreem ontvlambaar.

1. Reinig het gebied rond de tankdop om verontreiniging te voorkomen. 2. Draai de tankdop langzaam los. 3. Giet het brandstofmengsel voorzichtig in de tank. Voorkom morsen. 4. Reinig en inspecteer de pakking voordat u de tankdop weer aanbrengt. 5. Plaats de tankdop onmiddellijk terug en draai hem met de hand vast. Veeg eventueel gemorste Brandstof.
Page 34 Zet de schakelaar in de stand ON/MIN (B, Fig.27). Zet de chokehendel (C, Afb.26) in de stand DICHT (alleen voor koude starts). Houd de pomp stevig vast en trek aan het starterkoord totdat de motor start. Zet de chokehendel (C, Afb.29) in de stand OPEN en bedien indien nodig de starter opnieuw.

Page 36 MOTOR STOPPEN Breng het gaspedaal op stationair toerental (MIN) en wacht enkele seconden tot de motor is afgekoeld (Afb.30). Stop de motor door de schakelaar (B) in de STOP-stand te zetten (afb.31). Vergeet niet om het water dat nog in de zelfaanzuigende pomp zit af te tappen (Afb. 32). Was de pomp grondig als deze met zeewater is gebruikt.

Page 38 LUCHTFILTER Als er een merkbare vermindering van het motorvermogen is, open dan het deksel (A, Afb. 37) om te controleren of het luchtfilter (B). Reinig met een ontvettend middel, was met water en blaas van een afstand met perslucht (Fig. 38).
Page 39 UITLAATSLANG (Fig. 45) Dit uitlaatsysteem is uitgerust met een katalysator, die ervoor zorgt dat de motor voldoen aan de vereiste emissievoorwaarden. Wijzig of verwijder de katalysator nooit: elke wijziging is een overtreding van de wet. WAARSCHUWING!!! Uitlaatdempers met katalysatoren worden erg heet tijdens het gebruik. en blijft dat nog lange tijd na het uitschakelen van de motor.
Page 40 OPSLAG Wanneer het apparaat voor langere tijd moet worden opgeslagen : Laat de brandstof- en olietanks leeglopen en reinig ze in een goed geventileerde ruimte. Voer brandstof en olie op een milieuvriendelijke manier af. Om de carburateur leeg te maken, start u de motor en wacht u tot deze stilstaat (als u brandstofmengsel in de carburateur laat zitten, kan de motor oververhit raken).

BEFORE USE Make sure that the connections are perfectly tight by tightening them all the way. Connect the suction tube to the discharge connection. Secure the hose to the suction and discharge connections using the hose clips (Fig. 1-2). To avoid damaging the pump body, do not replace the fittings. (included in the equipment) by other fittings of a different material.

Page 54 REFUELLING (Fig.24) Shake the jerry can of mixture before refuelling (Fig.22). Follow the safety instructions for handling fuel. Always switch off the engine before refuelling. Never top up with fuel while the engine is running or while it is still hot. Stay at least 3 m WARNING!!! away from the refuelling area before starting the engine (Fig.23).

STARTING THE ENGINE Fill the carburettor using the pump (A, Fig.26). Check that the throttle (B, Fig.28) is operating correctly, turning between MIN and MAX. Turn the switch to the ON/MIN position (B, Fig.27). Position the choke lever (C, Fig.26) in the CLOSE position (for cold start only). Hold the pump firmly and pull the starter rope until the engine starts.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Motor-driven pumps are designed and built exclusively to pump water and inert liquids at ambient temperature. USE OF THE PUMP BY PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Check the working area at all times: do not direct the spray towards people or animals. Switch off the engine as soon as a person approaches.

ENGINE SHUTDOWN - MAINTENANCE ENGINE STOP Bring the accelerator to idle speed (MIN) and wait a few seconds for the engine to cool down (Fig.30). Stop the engine by moving the switch (B) to the STOP position (Fig.31). Do not forget to drain the water remaining in the self-priming pump (Fig. 32). Wash the pump thoroughly if it has been used with seawater.

AIR FILTER If there is a noticeable reduction in engine power, open the cover (A, Fig. 37) to check that the air filter (B). Clean with a degreasing agent, wash with water and blow with compressed air from a distance (Fig. 38). Before refitting the new filter, remove the most visible dirt from the inside of the cover and the area surrounding the filter.

EXHAUST HOSE (Fig. 45) This exhaust system is fitted with a catalytic converter, which ensures that the engine compliance with the required emissions conditions. Never modify or remove the catalytic converter: any modification is a breach of the law. WARNING!!! Exhaust silencers fitted with catalytic converters become very hot during the operation.

STORAGE When the appliance is to be stored for long periods : Drain and clean the fuel and oil tanks in a well-ventilated area. Dispose of fuel and oil in an environmentally friendly manner. To empty the carburettor, start the engine and wait for it to stop (leaving fuel mixture in the carburettor may cause the engine to overheat).
