SECTION F 3. En arging the opening (optional) Installation - Existing Construction If this fan is not rep acing an old fan, be sure to cut a 7.6" × 7.3" opening for the fan body (A). ENSURE THE 7.3-INCH SIDE OF THE OPENING IS FLUSH WITH THE JOIST FOR INSTALLATION FROM BELOW.
