The Tire Pyrometer has 4 independent lap timers that can be displayed all at once. To start one of the four lap timers, press the corresponding number (1-4) on the numeric keypad.

    Serial Output The Intercomp Tire Pyrometer may be connected to a printer, computer, or other RS-232 accepting device. The output receptacle is located on the bottom and accepts 3.5mm stereo mini-plugs. The outer ring is GND, the middle ring is TXD, and the center post is CTS. NOTE: The CTS signal is only required when the baud rate is set to 1200.

    Rev G, October 2008 Power Batteries Intercomp recommends using a 9VDC alkaline cell in the Tire Pyrometer. The battery cover is located on the bottom side of the Tire Pyrometer. Slide it off to replace the 9V cell. If the battery power is low, the top display will flash “*** LOW BATTERY ***”. If the battery level becomes too low the Tire Pyrometer will shut down.
