  • Page 5 2. Additional Safety Rules for dust collectors Woodworking can be dangerous if safe and proper operating procedures are not followed. As with all machinery, there are certain hazards involved with the operation of the product. Using the machine with respect and caution will considerably lessen the possibility of personal injury. However, if normal safety precautions are overlooked or ignored, personal injury to the operator may result.
  • Page 6 The application of this machine a) Purpose of this machine: Basically this dust collector was designed to be connected to the woodworking machine so as to collect the wood chip produced during operation. b) The following items are prohibited for this machine. -operating machine without going through this manual.

  • Page 8 ASSEMBLY To assembly your dust collector, do these steps: For your own safety, do not connect the machine to the power source until the machine is completely assembled. Please also make sure that you read and understand the entire instruction manual. Cyclone assembly 1.
  • Page 9 Collection bin assembly 1. Attach the front bin panel to the left bin panel using (4) 5/16” x3/4” hex bolts, (8) 5/16” flat washers and (4) 5/16” hex bolts. Fig. 3 2. Attach the right bin panel to the front-left bin assembly using (4) 5/16” x3/4” hex bolts, (8) 5/16”...
  • Page 10 4. Attach the bin vacuum tube to the back of the rear bin panel using (4) 5/16” x 3/4” hex bolts and (4) 5/16” flat washers. Fig. 6 Fig. 8 Fig. 7 5. Attach the (4) wheels to the base panel using (16) 5/16”x3/4” hex bolts and (16) 5/16” flat washers.
  • Page 11 7. Turn the bin assembly over and take the rubber gasket and attach to the lip of the bin assembly. Cut-off the remaining gasket, if it is too long. Make sure the gasket is attached completed over the full lip of the bin to avoid air leakage. Cut off the remaining gasket.
  • Page 12 10. Flip the bin lid over and place on top of collection bin assembly. Make sure to position as shown below with bin handle facing front. This is important to ensure the proper function of the bin lid handle. Fig. 14 11.
  • Page 13 13. Install the 9” flex hose to the cyclone funnel and cyclone funnel adapter and secure with 9” hose clamps. Fig. 17 14. Attach the bin lid connecting plates. Use (2) 3/8” x 1” hex bolts, (4) 3/8” flat washers and (2) 3/8”...
  • Page 14 16. Keep the negative pressure suction ring inside the lower bin. This ring is to distribute the pressure evenly inside the drum and hold the plastic bag down. Fig. 21 17. Install the collection bin plastic bag. Fig. 22 18. Remove the bin assembly from under the lid. Secure hex bolts using (2) 3/8” lock nuts. Do not overtighten! Only tighten enough with the end/bottom of the hex bolts are flat/even with the hex nuts.

  • Page 17 PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE CONTROL 1. Ensure the machine is switch ON before programming the remote control. 2. Press the black set button on the bottom of the remote switch until you hear two beeps. 3. Press the Remote set button on your hand held remote control simultaneously with the black button until you hear three beeps to complete the set up.
  • Page 18 REMOVING THE CANISTER FILTER 1. Open the maintenance door on the canister cover plate sitting on top of the dust chute where the gear motor is located. Fig. 36 Loosen the bolt off of the rotation shaft as shown below. Set the shaft aside for later use.
  • Page 19 3. With the help of another person, loosen the 12 bolts holding the canister filter to the dust chute. Carefully remove the canister filter off from the dust chute. Fig. 38 4. With the canister filter removed use a compressed air gun to thoroughly clean between the pleats, both inside and outside.

    EMPTYING THE DRUM Periodically inspect the contents of the drum and empty as needed. To inspect the contents of the drum: 1. Lift the bin handle up, to roll the collection bin out from underneath the bin lid. Fig. 39 Fig.
