The 2001 Voice Communications
System uses the
Disconnect electrical power when making any
internal adjustments
or repalrs. Installation
2001-6046
Tape Player Module to transmit recorded
messages to the building's occupants.
and servicing should be performed
by quali-
fied Simplex Representatives.
The 2001-6058 Tape Cartridge is used with the tape player. Each track of the endless-loop,
two-track tape has
approximately
30 seconds of playing time.
The tape player contains a speaker, one TBL LED and the following manual switches:
TEST -
when set to the up position, activates tape player TBL and SYST TBL indicators, sounds the tone
device and activates the tape player's internal speaker circuit.
MESSAGE 1 -
when set to the up position (and the TEST switch is also set to the up position), activates track
1.
MESSAGE 2 -
when set to the up position (and the TEST switch is also set to the up position), activates track
2 and inhibits track 1.
TAPE EJECTION
-
when pressed, ejects the tape
from the tape player.
VOLUME CONTROL
-
adjusts
the tape
playe?s
output signal (affects the loudness
of the tape
player's speaker and the building's speakers).
TBL LED -
illuminates when tape is removed from
the tape player or when the TEST switch is set to
