If at any time during exercise you feel faint, dizzy, or experience pain, stop exercising and consult a physician.
Prime Smart Strength allows users to selectively alter the resistance pattern of exercise movements. This means that any Prime machine equipped with Smart Strength can place the maximum resistance at the beginning, middle, or end (or any region in between) of each exercise movement.

The bench locator attaches to an upright foot support (if your setup does not have an upright foot support, one can be ordered from the Prime website or contact customer service). Hold the accessory at an angle, as shown, and slide the pin through the hole in the upright foot support which is furthest from the upright.
To attach the Smart Arm to the upright, hold the base Smart Arm at an angle, as shown, and slide the pin through hole 14 in the upright (hole 14 is approximately 35 inches above the floor which is the correct height for every Smart Arm exercise configuration).

Finally, attach the machine configuration specific exercise arm. Be sure to lock in the exercise arm using a lynch pin after sliding it into the Smart Arm base. Which arm to use depends on the desired configuration. For further details on exercise configurations, see Machine Configurations section.
Owner’s Manual—Smart Arm 01.31.2025 Machine Configurations In all configurations, the Smart Arm should be attached to the upright in hole number 14. Place weight plate(s) on the counterweight peg. The recommended amount of weight for all configurations is 20 lbs.

(1), the torque arm goes down through the center vertical tube (2), the smart arm base hangs on and pins into the angled vertical tube (3), and the bench locator can hang from the small hole at the bottom of the torque arm’s vertical tube.

It is recommended that maintenance be performed regularly to ensure the machine is safe for use. Instruct all facility personnel on equipment inspection and maintenance procedures.
