1 - RECOMMENDATIONS
Description
1Control LINK is an electronic device that allows you to control 1Control SOLO or 1Control
DORY devices.
1Control LINK communicates with 1Control SOLO or 1Control DORY using the Bluetooth
LE 4 protocol. 1Control LINK connects to the Internet through a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network or
via RJ45 LAN network cable.
Operating distance
The maximum distance between 1Control LINK and 1Control SOLO or 1Control DORY
varies according to environmental conditions. Typically this distance is between 15 and
30 meters.
To maximize the range of 1Control LINK, it is best to place it at least 1 meter from the
ground and in a place where there are no obstacles between 1Control LINK and 1Control
SOLO or 1Control DORY. Reinforced concrete walls or metal boxes can weaken or block
the 1Control LINK signal.
Examples of positioning:
A) 1Control SOLO placed near the gate and 1Control LINK placed in the house on the win-
dow closest to the gate. This solution allows you to open the gate both using Bluetooth
and using Wi-Fi.
B) 1Control SOLO and 1Control LINK both placed in the house on the window closest
to the gate. In this way, taking advantage of the operating range of the remote control
copied into your SOLO, it is possible to cover a greater distance and open through the
Wi-Fi.
