Assembly Fitting the Fence Assembly, Sliding Table Fig. 7.34 Clamps & Pressure Pad to the Router Table Mounting slot The cast iron table has three sets of two tapped holes on either end. To attach the fence assembly place it so the required holes are visible through the mounting slots at either end Tapped hole as in Fig.
Fitting a Router to the Router Table To gain access to the underside of the table, Fig. 8.1 Clamp remove the table retention locking knobs. levelling bolt and Clamping The gas springs can push the table up with flange considerable force. Apply downward pressure to the table before fully removing the knobs to control the table's movement.

Operation Using the Sliding Table Fig. 9.7 Before using the sliding table the lock tabs on either side of the table must be disengaged by rotating them 180º to be clear of the table assembly, Fig. 9.7. Lock tabs When larger workpieces are being machined, it is recommended that the sliding table be used.
Operation Using the Cast Iron Table Fig. 9.12 When machining small workpieces use of the sliding table may be unnecessary and use of the cast iron table may be preferable. The fence assembly can be turned around and re-fixed to two holes closer to the sliding table as shown in Fig.
