    ENGLISH 3. INSTALLATION 3.1. Mounting and commissioning Choose a location for installing the product by ensuring that Wi-Fi reception is correct. The clock should be installed in a place free from electrical interference (transformers, neon and halogen lights...). Avoid fixing the clock directly against a metallic wall or reinforced concrete. Install the product by following the steps below: fig.

    Wi-Fi clocks can be configured manually by accessing the web server of each clock or automatically using the "Bodet Detect" software on a laptop. Please refer to the manual of the "Bodet Detect" software for automatic configuration. Accessing the web interface of a Wi-Fi clock to set its parameters is done as follows: Switch the device on.

    This procedure should be repeated for each Wi-Fi clock to be configured. 4.2. Factory configuration The full factory configuration is as follows: Network • Clock name: BODET- MACaddress. • DHCP: Enabled. • Time zone: Paris. • Synchronisation: DHCP.

    Type of product. • Name: BODET + @MAC. @MAC is the MAC address of the product: it varies from one product to another and matches the MAC address stated on the identification label of the product during its installation. The name can be modified in the "Network configuration" menu.

    ENGLISH 5.2. "Wi-Fi configuration" menu The "Wi-Fi configuration" menu enables to connect the product to a Wi-Fi network. "Scan" section The "Scan" station mode section (by default) displays all Wi-Fi networks. The "Scan" button enables to search for available Wi-Fi networks. •...
  • Page 14 ENGLISH • Checkbox Option which enables to force the connection. If the box is checked, the Force connection: settings will be saved whether the clock manages to connect or not. If the box is unchecked, the settings will only be saved when the clock manages to connect.

    • MAC address : MAC address of the device. This address is unique for each device. This number is indicated on a label on the back of Bodet devices. • Name: Product name + MAC address (by default). The name can be modified.

    ENGLISH 5.4. "Time configuration" menu The "Time configuration" menu enables to configure the time zone and synchronisation settings. "Time Zone" section • Time zone: Selecting the time zone (summer/winter time change is automatic depending on the time zone selected). It is also possible to configure a time zone not set by default in the drop-down menu (PROG).
  • Page 17 ENGLISH • Checkboxes Selecting the normal or eco mode. Eco mode: The energy-saving mode helps preserving the batteries. In eco mode, the clock no longer tries to synchronise for the defined period and the second hand stops in the case of a clock with HMS (Hour-Minute-Second) display. When it exits eco mode, the clock will search for synchronisation again.

"Factory configuration" section The "Factory config. and Reboot" button resets the product to factory settings. This action will erase any settings you have made and may cause the device to lose its connection to the network if there is no DHCP server.

    FRANÇAIS 3. INSTALLATION 3.1. Fixation et mise en service Choisir un emplacement d'installation en s’assurant que la réception Wi-Fi y soit correcte. L'horloge doit être installée dans un endroit exempt de parasites électriques (transformateur, luminaires au néon et halogènes...) pouvant générer des interférences. Eviter de fixer l’horloge directement contre une paroi métallique ou du béton armé.

    La configuration des horloges Wi-Fi peut être réalisée manuellement en accédant au serveur web de chaque horloge ou automatiquement en utilisant le logiciel "Bodet Detect" sur un PC portable. Se référer au manuel du logiciel "Bodet Detect" pour une configuration automatique.

    FRANÇAIS 5.2. Menu "Configuration Wi-Fi" Le menu "Configuration Wi-Fi" permet principalement de connecter le produit à un réseau Wi-Fi. Rubrique "Scan" La rubrique Station mode "Scan" (par défaut) liste tous les réseaux Wi-Fi. Le bouton "Scan" permet de lancer une recherche des réseaux Wi-Fi disponibles. •...

En mode éco, l'horloge ne recherche plus de synchronisation pendant la période définie et l'aiguille des secondes s'arrête dans le cas d'une horloge avec affichage HMS (Heure-Minute-Seconde).
