Richtige Nutzung des Kompostes
Kompost ist ein qualitativ hochwertiges
mineralisches Düngemittel zur Nährstoffver-
besserung des Bodens. Zum Unterschied von
mineralischen Düngemitteln bekommt der
Boden sehr wichtige organische Anteile (vor
allem Humus). Humus hat eine hervorragende
Wirkung zur Bodenverbesserung. Reifen Kom-
post locker in die Bodenoberfläche einarbeiten
(jährlich ca. 1–2 cm). Falls der Kompost noch
nicht ganz durchgereift ist, benutzt man ihn
zum Mulchen, dadurch verhindert man die
Verbreitung von Unkraut. Kompost im Frühjahr
ausbringen, im Herbst kann man ihn dann
mit in den Boden einbringen. Kompost ist für
alle Pflanzenarten als Düngemittel geeignet.
Entsorgung des Komposters
Verpackungsmaterial, Metallkomponenten
auf vorgeschriebene Weise entsorgen (Gemein-
deordnung).

Correct use of the compost
Compost is a qualitatively high-quality mineral
fertiliser that improves the nutrient content
of the soil. Unlike mineral fertiliser, the soil
receives all-important organic components
(mainly mould). Mould has a great effect on
soil improvement. Work mature compost
loosely into the surface of the soil (approx.
1–2 cm annually). If the compost is not com-
pletely mature, it can be used for mulching
to prevent the spread of weeds. Spread
compost in spring, and then work it into
the soil in autumn. Compost is a suitable
fertilizer for all types of plants.
Disposal of composter
Dispose of packaging material and metal
components in the manner described (munici-
pal regulations).
