Camec Invictus Installation Instructions

The following instructions will enable you to upgrade
your mechanical Camec Invictus lock to an electronic
version with a keypad.
The warranty period for the existing mechanical lock
is 2 years from the date of installation. Customer
purchase of the new electronic lock provides a 2-year
warranty of the electronic lock outer handle from the
date of installation.
Please contact Camec on 1300 422 632 if you require
further information on installation and operation.
NOTE: Ensure to leave the door open throughout this process to avoid accidentally locking yourself out.
1. Insert servant key.
Insert the servant key into the
barrel of the mechanical handle
and turn 90° anticlockwise.
Remove servant key.
4. Insert barrel into new
electronic handle assembly.
Insert the servant key into the
barrel and insert the barrel into
the new electronic handle in
the same orientation that it was
removed (90°, take notes of wings
on barrel). Remove servant key.
Camec Invictus Electronic Lock Retrofit
Required products/tools for installation:
- Camec Invictus Electronic Door Lock Kit (battery
housing included).
- Servant key
- Removal key.
- 2x AA batteries (not included with lock).
- Drill with #2 Phillips head drive bit or #2 Phillips head
screwdriver.
- Torque wrench.
2. Remove barrel from
mechanical handle assembly.
Insert the red removal key and
pull it out, the barrel should come
with it. If it doesn't, remove the
key, flip it 180° and try again.
5. Undo screws.
From the inside of the door, undo
the 3x screws holding the outer
handle to the inner handle. Keep
the 3x screws nearby.

3. Remove removal key.
Press down on the first wafer and
remove the removal key from the
barrel.
6. Remove outer handle
While depressing the anti-lock,
remove the outer handle, leaving
the inner handle in place.
