Left Foot Pedal: Activates the flow of virgin cleaning fluid from the left nozzle for the paint gun’s manual cleaning. Use this pedal sparingly; it draws from only ½ of the cleaning fluid container.     LUID ONTAINERS 1. Insert a 5 gallon cleaning fluid container, only ½ full of Safety-Kleen cleaning fluid, into a containment pail, and place that assembly on the M1055’s left side. 2. Remove both bungs using a non-sparking wrench and screw flame arrestors into both bungs until secure.

    3. Drain as much paint as possible from the paint cup into a properly labeled waste paint container. Important! Do not discard paint cup waste or any other materials into the M1055. Doing so will clog the lines, requiring a Safety-Kleen service call.

Depress the paint gun trigger and install the trigger clip to hold the paint gun open for cleaning. 5. Fit the black purge air line with a tapered plug. a) Depending on what mode of air-connection the paint gun uses, different tapered plugs that fit all modes are provided in the M1055’s accessory bag.
