A. Hardware Installation Read this section to learn how to install the camera and connect it to a network. Assembling the Stand (Mounting Bracket) The camera can be assembled in two different ways; either from the top of the unit or the bottom.
Connecting to a Network The IP camera can be connected to an Ethernet network using the RJ-45 port as shown. Connect the camera to an Ethernet hub or switch using a standard cable. You can also connect the camera directly to a computer using the supplied cable. Connecting Power Connect the power adapter to the DC-IN socket on the camera as shown.

D.4. User Group Overview D.4.1. User The User Group functions in System Setup area is for managing user privileges. Default user “Administrator” is created with full privileges during installation. You can add users to the system and differentiate their privilege by designating them to different groups.

H.1.1.3.Time Settings Click the “Time” tab on the top to access the date and time settings screen. You can choose “Synchronize with Time Server”, “Synchronize with computer time” or “Set manually”. If you select “Synchronize with Time Server”, check the checkbox then choose your time zone and enter NTP server details.
H.1.1.4.Firmware Upgrade Click the “Firmware” tab on the top to access the firmware upgrade screen: Here you can upgrade the system firmware version, reset and restore original camera settings.
