    Vehicle Overview This manual covers Vantage’s LIV9DC and LIV9DP vans, as well as the LIV9DX and LIV9DR pickup trucks. It is the user’s responsibility to adhere to all state and local laws pertaining to the use of Vantage vehicles used in LSV (low speed vehicle) applications.

    Vehicle Identification Tags The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) tag is located on the driver’s side of the dashboard, well under passenger seat, as shown in the photos on left. In addition, a manufacturers identification label is also located in the driver’s side door jamb. This indicates the recommended tire pressures, gross vehicle weight (GVWR) and gross axle weight rating (GAWR).

    Main Electrical Disconnect Before servicing the vehicle, a safety cut-off switch is located underneath the driver’s side front seat. To access, unclip the two latches located at the front of seat as shown in picture below on left, and swing seat rearward. The electrical cut-off switch has a large red button which is pushed to disconnect the main traction battery pack.

    Seatbelts Both the driver’s seat and the front passenger’s seat are equipped with a 3-point safety belt and shoulder harness. Pull out the belt and stretch it over your body, and then insert the belt latch into the buckles until a “click” is heard. Then, the belt is locked.

    Right Side Control Stalk The control stalk on the right side of the steering wheel is used for controlling the windshield wipers and washers. To operate the windshield wiper, rotate the stalk CW from the off position for turning the wipers on, and setting the speed from intermediate to Hi. To activate the windshield washer, pull the end of the stalk towards the driver and release to cancel.

    Forward Reverse Switch The forward/reverse switch is located to the left of the steering wheel. Depress the brake pedal then select drive direction by pressing shift switch to the desired position. Once a direction is selected, the vehicle will begin to slowly move in that direction.

    Mode HVAC Controls Control Air Conditioning (if equipped) Temperature Control Recirculating Air Switch Fan Speed The center knob controls the 4 fan speeds. If your vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, pressing the button to the left will turn the cooling function on and off. The output temperature of the unit is controlled by the left side knob, blue for cold, and red for hot air.

    Door Lock and Window Switches Door Lock Knob Window Switches Your vehicle is equipped with power windows and locks. To activate windows, pull window switch up, to lower, push window switches down. Door locks are unlocked by pulling up door lock knob on top of door, locked by depressing knob. Both door locks are tied into this switch.

    Infotainment System Power Home Screen And rear Home Camera Display Back Screen Volume Up Volume Down To use the system, a series of controls is located on the left side of the display, as shown above. To access specific functions, utilize the provided touchscreen.

    Seat Adjustment To adjust seat fore and aft movement, pull up on lever at base, lift the control lever in front of the driver’s seat cushion and move the seat fore and aft along the tracks. Release the control lever at the required position and the track locks in place.

    Parking Brake Lever The parking brake lever is located in between the driver and passenger seat. Pull up the handle until it is tight whenever parking the vehicle. Release the brake by pulling up on the handle slightly and pressing the button on the end. You can then release the brake by lowering the handle.

    Maximizing Your Driving Range Electric vehicle range depends on many factors, including driving style, vehicle load, terrain and accessory energy use. Temperature also plays a factor as cold decreases battery capacity. Plan your route to minimize stop and start driving and avoid hills for the maximum range.

    Charging Your Vehicle – Charge Point Location The charger port is located behind locked door on passenger side of vehicle. The charger point is designed to be used with a 20-amp charging cord. A weather resistant rubber boot fits over the plug when it is in not in use.

    Vehicle Storage Please follow the protocol below for storing your vehicle for more than one week Lead acid batteries should be fully charged when stored, Lithium-Ion batteries should be stored at 40-60% state of charge (SOC). Check the voltage on the auxiliary battery. With the key off, this battery should be about 12.6 volts. If it is below this voltage, charge the car with the ignition key ON for at least one hour, or until the battery is charged.

    Warranty – LIV9D Series Limited Vehicle Warranty Vantage Vehicle International Inc. hereby warrants to the original purchaser of any Vantage Vehicle International Inc. LIV9D Series electric vehicle purchased through an authorized Vantage Vehicle International dealer in the continental United States will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years/8,000 miles (12,900 km) whichever comes first, limited warranty on all components (except batteries) of your Vantage vehicle against defects in material or workmanship.
  • Page 36 Warranty – LIV9D Series Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Limited Warranty For vehicles purchased after 2-1-25, battery coverage begins on the date of purchase by the original purchaser and continues for 5 years or 30,000 miles (48,300 km), whichever comes first. During this period, Vantage warrants your vehicle’s batteries against defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Page 37 Warranty – LIV9D Series Remedies The sole remedy for any breach of this warranty shall be, at the discretion of Vantage Vehicle International, the repair or replacement of any defective materials, components, or products. The remedies outlined in this warranty are the only options available to any individual for a breach of this warranty.
