Never use the cord to pull the plug from the outlet. Grasp plug and pull to disconnect. 5. Use only the provided Safety-Kleen solvent. Do not add foreign solvents or chemicals to the solvent. The use of other chemicals may cause a hazardous condition. Do not remove solvent from the equipment. -

16. Do not operate the equipment if a leak is apparent or occurs during use. Slippery conditions can result. Use caution when attempting to stop the leak. Only attempt if possible to do without risk. -

Model 30’s sink is the larger of the two sinks and sits atop a 30 gallon steel drum containing Safety-Kleen solvent. The Model 16 sits atop a 16 gallon steel drum of solvent. In addition to the sink and drum, other similar components include the fusible link, pump, hose/brush and lamp assemblies. -

Only use the provided solvent such as Safety-Kleen’s Premium Solvent or other solvents offered by Safety-Kleen Systems. Do not add water, or foreign solvents or chemicals to the solvent. The use of other chemicals may cause a hazardous condition. Do NOT remove solvent from the equipment. - Page 8 Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. Models 16(C) and 30(C) Operator Booklet The Split Basket Sink/Pump Assembly 1. Place the pump assembly into the drum of solvent and secure the half-moon’s position on the lip of the drum. Ensure the pump’s power cord is accessible.
- Page 9 The Fusible Link Assembly A Model 16 or 30 will utilize one of two fusible link assemblies. Both assemblies feature a fusible link wingnut in the lid. This wingnut will engage with one of the completed assemblies below, keeping the lid open for use.

Locate the two nuts illustrated below, either already attached to the stand pipe, or provided loose in a hardware bag. 2. If the nuts are both attached to the standpipe, remove one. If provided separately, attach one securely to the standpipe. -
