PLACEMENT
Place the SIB-106 on a flat, level surface, (table, workbench, etc.).
Keep lights 6"- 8" away from surface of soft lighting box for best light
diffusion. To conserve battery life, always turn off lights when not in use.
step 5 STORAGE
The soft lighting box folds into a case for traveling and protection.
The background, lights and camera stand are stored in there own
individual compartments. CAUTION: ALLOW LIGHTS TO
PROPERLY COOL OFF BEFORE HANDLING OR STORING.

PHOTO TIPS
This system utilizes energy-efficient, compact fluorescent daylight temperature bulbs. We recommend
not using the camera's "AUTO" mode setting. Best color is achieved using the "MANUAL" mode and
setting the camera's white balance to "FLUORESCENT" with the flash setting "OFF".

Place object in the center of Soft Lighting Tent for the very best diffused light.
For best definition, use a background color that creates contrast. Avoid placing objects directly
on background since this will create micro-shadows which reduce edge definition. Raise
object at least 1/2" off surface for shadow-free edges.
Use the "MACRO" setting (usually a flower symbol) for close-ups. Never use digital zoom -
optical zoom only.
