Installation Mounting Choose a suitable mounting location above, below or side by side with your control Panel (e.g. BP52). Allowable installation locations (based on cable lengths / cable routing) are shown below.

Place ACC-VBX-ENC adjacent to a wired panel once removing the corresponding knockouts. Use the remaining conduit chase nipples to connect ACC-VBX-ENC to a wired panel. Secure ACC-VBX-ENC to the wall using the provided No.12 Screws.
Installation Wiring Route the battery wire through the conduit connection and connect to the “VBX Battery Enclosure” port on a wired panel. Alternate way to route the battery wires if using the side knockouts. Route the tamper switch wires around the perimeter of the enclosure using the cable holders.

Installation Mounting Close and secure the door using the provided key to engage the lock.
Installation Battery Installation (Optional) Battery Warning Do not install batteries until all wiring and servicing complete. Batteries Installation Remove all packaging material from the battery. Slide battery into enclosure until audible “click” is heard. Confirm correct installation via LED on battery turning on (refer to the LED behaviors page for more information).
