Congratulations on buying the Rainger FX Pull Focus!!! This is a high
gain distortion pedal, with either a reverb or chorus effect fading in after
a short while.
The distortion is all analog, the reverb, chorus and the fade-in are all
digital. Plus there's a noise gate (also digital), which unobtrusively keeps
the pedal silent when you're not playing.
It's a multi-effects pedal, of a very particular kind.....
1 | VOLUME
This knob controls the overall output
volume.
2| TONE
This changes the amount of treble or bass in the sound.
3| GAIN
This controls the gain of the sound - from a slight overdrive up to
a thick full distortion.
4| RAMP - KNOB
fades in. Fully CCW the effect is on all the time. Turn it slightly CW and it
takes a short time to fade in (1 sec), keep
turning CW and the fade-in time increases up
to about 4 seconds maximum, before - at
fully CW - it takes so long to fade in, it
actually never comes on at all.
5| RAMP - LED
how the effect fades in
6| EFFECT - SWITCH
decides whether it's chorus or reverb that
fades in.
7| EFFECT - KNOB
On chorus, fully CCW
is slowest speed, fully CW is fastest.
On reverb, fully CCW is smallest/least reverb,
fully CW is biggest/most.
8| ON / OFF - LED
pedal is on or off.
9| ON / OFF - FSW
on or off. The pedal is true bypass.
