my camera is stating that it has a 564 general error, i cannot figure out what is wrong with it.

WARRANTY AND SERVICING BYK, the manufacturer of the Acquire Quantum EFX, provides a 3-year warranty on the Acquire Quantum EFX based on the point of sale. The warranty only covers manufacturer defects and not normal wear and tear. If you have any service or performance concerns with your Acquire Quantum EFX, please contact ColorNet Support.

INSTALLING USB DRIVERS For the Acquire Quantum EFX to communicate with your computer, you may need to install current USB drivers, especially if connecting to an existing computer. NOTE: If you received this Acquire Quantum EFX unit packaged with a new computer, the new USB drivers are already installed.

2. Tap OK using your stylus, finger or press the operate button. 3. Next, place the Acquire Quantum EFX on the blue metallic standard. (It fits into the indentation of the blue metallic standard and can only be positioned in one direction.

NOTE: The unit must be lifted and placed on a different location to reactivate the bottom pins. 7. The Acquire Quantum EFX allows you to enter the vehicle’s Manufacturer, Mfr. Code and Repair Order number. These fields are optional, but will be imported with the color reading when the unit is connected to ColorNet.

Included with the unit is a base station and power adapter used for charging. NOTE: Place your Acquire Quantum EFX unit on the base station when not in use to ensure it is always charged and ready to be used.

RETRIEVING A FORMULA The following instructions will guide you through retrieving a formula using a reading from the Acquire Quantum EFX. NOTE: If interested in a WiFi configuration, go to the Setting up a Wireless Connection. 1. With your EFX on the base station (Preferred) or by using the included micro USB cable connected to your computer, open ColorNet Cloud.
Page 11 5. If the manufacturer and manufacturer codes were selected during the Acquire Quantum EFX reading process, they will appear on the search window. If not, complete the Add More Information window. 6. When finished, click Continue and the Analyze Color window appears with your formula options.
Page 12 NOTE: A Color Value below 2.0 should be a blendable match. No Formula Match Found: The Analyze Color search process is designed to walk you through all available search options to bring you to the best possible match. When a match is not found using the search process described above, you will see additional search prompts.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS White and Blue Metallic Instrument Standard The instrument comes with a white standard and a blue metallic standard. The white standard is used to calibrate the camera and to perform the 100% reflection calibration. The blue metallic standard is used to check color and effect reading.

14. Once finished, the Acquire Quantum EFX will now load readings wirelessly. NOTE: When using the Acquire Quantum EFX in wireless mode, return the unit to the base station to prevent the unit from switching to sleep mode. This will keep it powered and available for communication, as well as keep the batteries fully charged.
