8800 Series Overfill and Ground Protection Monitor
IMPORTANT: This Quick Start Reference is intended to provide an overview of
features and functions of the 8800 Series Rack Monitors. Refer to the Installation
and Operations Manuals included with each unit for detailed information.
Unboxing Your Rack Monitor
Inside each carton you will find the following items:
 Rack Monitor (The image on the carton may not represent the actual monitor inside)
 Installation Manual
 Operations Instructions
 QR Code to access to current product information and support.
The rack monitor face is attached with 2 bolts. Additional hardware and the bypass key are
located inside the rack monitor body. With an Allen wrench, remove the bolts that secure the
front. Remove the cover to retrieve two bags with additional bolts and the bypass key. After
the rack monitor has been installed, power attached, and switches have been configured (see
the Installation Manual for information), reinstall the face plate ensuring that all 14 bolts have
been securly installed and tightened

    Bypass Key Instructions Although it is NOT recommended, the 8800 Series Rack Monitors can be bypassed in a faulty or wet sensor condition. Following is a brief overview of how to bypass both the 8870 and 8851N. Please refer to the Operations Manual for full details. 8870 Rack Monitor 8851N Rack Monitor A Red Bypass Key is shipped with each rack monitor unit.
