  • Page 5 XH-M401 Introduction The AZ-Delivery XH-M401 step-down module is a so-called buck converter or step-down converter. This DC-DC converter allows to regulate the input voltage comfortably down to a desired value by means of a potentiometer. The output voltage is always lower than the input voltage.

    XH-M401 Application example In this example we show you how to use a step-down converter, this is just one of the countless possibilities. Here we supply our nodeMCU Amika V3 with an old laptop power supply, which is not needed anymore. The voltage of the power supply is 19V, with the help of the step-down module we step down the voltage to 5V and apply it to the Vin pin of the Amika V3.
