condensation accumulated in the filter when exhalation gas passes the filter.

4. Principle
The heater takes advantage of heating to prevent water condensation in filter and decreased gas
flow resistance. When the filter is kept warm and dry, it will continue to work efficiently according to
specification. A water trap can be used below the device to collect water condensation.
The filter system is generally used to prevent the spread of infectious disease and protect sensitive flow
monitoring equipment as used in mechanical ventilators.
