Damages which are caused by using the device beyond the specified operation conditions. Function The sensor 828 can be used to measure air, soil, or water temperatures. A Pt100 measuring resistor is used as the sensing element, which is protected within a shaft made of stainless steel. A special sealing compound ensures optimal heat transfer between the shaft and the sensing element (hard glass capsule). -

The sensor 828 is immediately ready for operation after being connected to a data acquisition system. Maintenance Maintenance of the sensor 828 is not required. A simple functional check is sufficient by assessing the plausibility of the measured temperature value. -
