B. Connection of a single-speed filtration pump Note: When installing the motor, the user cannot select a single-speed pump from the list and can choose any pump without distinction. The wiring below allows the single- speed pump to operate. Attention: In a POOL COMMAND VS² box, it is necessary to add a contactor to connect it to the single-speed filtration pump.
D. Connection of the automatic cover Connect the end switch of the cover to the cover input. The connection direction can be made interchangeably. E. Connection of auxiliaries 1 and 2 The POOL COMMAND VS² allows for the control of two auxiliary devices such as: •...
If the installation does not have a switch, proceed with the following connection: 2) Connecting a heat pump IMPORTANT ! A heat pump should only operate when the filtration pump is running. Therefore, the electrical connection of the heat pump to the POOL COMMAND VS² must always be made in a way that ensures the simultaneous operation of the filtration pump and the heat pump.
Page 23
b) Heat pump without ON/OFF CONTACT If the heat pump does not have a remote ON/OFF control terminal, then use the flow switch of the heat pump by connecting it in series with the AUX1 or AUX2 terminal of the POOL COMMAND VS²...
3) Connecting an electrolyzer IMPORTANT ! Electrolyzers should only operate when there is flow at the cell level. Also, the electrical connection of an electrolyzer must always be made in such a way as to guarantee ope- ration of filtration pump while the electrolyzer is running. a) Electrolyzers and treatment devices with Flowswitch b) Electrolyzers and treatment devices without Flowswitch If the treatment device does not have a flow switch, it can be connected using the fol-...
Or by using relay output 3-4 to control the contactor to which the treatment devices are connected. 4) Connecting a hydraulic robot WARNING ! Hydraulic robots (with a booster pump) should only operate when the filtration pump is running. Therefore, the electrical connection of a hydraulic robot must always be made to ensure the simultaneous operation of the filtration pump and the robot’s booster pump.
Page 26
If the booster pump does not have a timer, the POOL COMMAND VS² connected timer will be connected to control the booster pump's contactor. However, to ensure that the booster pump only operates when the filtration pump is running, the control terminals (13 and 14) of the filtration pump's contactor should be used.

Treatment equipment Auxiliary stop In automatic mode, the treatment au- xiliary operates only when the filtration is running. In this mode, the auxiliary can operate according to the following sub-modes: Cover Mode Activation: When the co- ver is open, the auxiliary operates conti- nuously with the filtration.
Controlling a Bluetooth compatible equipment Associating a Bluetooth compatible equipment allows for controlling its main functions (mode, setpoint) as well as retrieving measurements taken and alarms generated by the device. Measurements are collected every 30 minutes, but they are also updated whene- ver the user interacts with the device.
V. FAQ How many measurements does the connected clock perform per day? The connected clock takes temperature measurements every 15 minutes when the fil- tration system is active. How does thermo-adaptive filtration work? The connected clock analyzes the water temperature. Based on the average temperature recorded the previous day, the connected clock ap- plies a filtration schedule as defined by the models presented in this document.
