Parkwood E-LOK Troubleshooting

Here are some steps to try to solve the problem:
→ Have you changed the batteries lately, (Alkaline batteries).
→ Try pressing the factory reset bottom (Usually found where the batteries are).
Manual factory reset: If you are not admin of the E-LOK Smart
lock or you wish to perform a manual factory reset, remove
battery cover and complete a long press the restart button in
battery case until you hear 'Please input initialization
passcode'. Input code "000#" on the keypad. The system reset
will be complete. From here you can link the E-LOK Smart Lock
to your phone via the E-LOK App. Please Note: The default code
before connecting to the E-LOK is 123456#.
→ Key not turning to open door – try using WD40 in the keyhole and on the key.
Having problems because you have forgotten your pin code
Unlocking E-LOK 7-Series with key: Your E-LOK comes with two mechanical keys and a slot
in the front panel to use them. If you have forgotten your PIN code or the batteries are flat,
follow these steps to unlock manually.
1.
Press your finger into left or right side of
cover, which should lever open.
2. Inset key into slot.
3. Turn the key to shown position.
4. Pull the handle down as it is now engaged
with the latch.
5. If the batteries are flat, please replace them.
→ Sticky residue after removing protective plastic:
Elements Hardware recommend using Peel Off.
Follow the below instructions:
1.
Spray each keypad for 2 seconds roughly.
2. Leave the solution on for at least 15 minutes.
3. Attempt to peel/lightly scrape the old film off the keypad.
→ Does your E-LOK 8-series faceplate need replacing – Please email us and we will make a
warranty claim with the supplier (we will also email the instructions to replace this cover).
If you believe that your Lock has malfunctioned, go
through the steps below to identify if the problem
can be resolved.
