1. Why does it look blurry when using with Zoom

Most online video calling apps like Zoom/Skype/FaceTime will decrease the video resolution to 720p or even lower for stable connection or ess consumption in server bandwidth, which may make the video blurry. You can check the output video quality of the webcam with the built-in Camera app under Windows.

2. Can I use my own microphone instead?

Sure. If you want to use another microphone, go to Control Panel - Hardware and Sound Recording, choose the recording device you need and set that as default.

3. Why does the video seem like flickering

In most situations, this issue is caused by the flicker of the lamp in your room. For example, if you are using the Windows Camera, go to Settings - Video settings, change the Flicker reduction option. In most places of the USA, you should set it to 60Hz for better effect.

When using desktop computers, it is recommended to connect the webcam with a rear USB port which can provide enough power to make it perform better.
