Drain the water heater at regular intervals to remove sediment buildup (at least one time during the year). Your WTD128 water heater is fitted with a sacrificial anode rod which helps preventing corrosion by attracting corrosive elements. The anode rod needs to be replaced periodically.

▪ Rumbling or Booming Sounds: These sounds can indicate excessive pressure or overheating. Adjust the thermostat to a lower setting if needed or check the pressure relief valve. Pilot light keeps going out: • Thermocouple Issues: A malfunctioning thermocouple may cause the pilot light to go out. Replace the thermocouple if necessary.

The water heater exhaust can exceed 300 °C (572 °F) at the vent and GLOBAL HERITAGE suggests the installer review the specific application when maintaining distances less than the recommended clearances.
