Basic Operation

• Displays Navigation Mode.
  (Default) (AVN Only)
  
• Drag left/right to change the mode.
  (Navi → Phone) (AVN only)
  
• Displays the range and current location at the bottom.
  

Starting the System

• The KG MOBILITY logo is displayed and the system will boot.
• Once booting is complete, the most recent mode will operate.
  (Default mode is navigation) (AVN only)

Restarting the System

• Press and hold the Menu switch on the cluster steering wheel remote switch (for more than 10 seconds) to reboot the system.
• When the system is restarted, some information previously saved and configured will be reset. This is not a malfunction but a measure taken to ensure safety by resetting the device.

• Please make sure to restart the vehicle after the system reboot.
• If a restart is not performed, the Adaptive Cruise Control(ACC) function will be limited.

Turning the System Off

• Press and hold the Mute switch (for more than 1.5 seconds) or press the Power off icon on the left menu to move to the Power off screen and the sound will be also muted.
• On the Power off screen, press and hold the Mute switch to display the existing screen.
• In the display settings, you can select a digital or analog clock image.

Split Screen

• On the MENU screen, touch right and drag it to left to display the split screen.

• Dragging up/down on the split screen changes the displayed mode.
• The modes displayed on the split screen are Climate, Media (USB Media, BT Music, Radio), BT Phone, Clock, and Compass.
• By shortly pressing (less than 1.5 seconds) the split screen, the corresponding mode will be displayed.

Top Menu

• Touch the top of the screen and drag it to the bottom to display the top menu.

Top Menu

Mode	Description
	Available to mute/unmute all sounds.
	Various Vehicle features are available. (Depending on vehicle specifications, the modes displayed vary.)
	Available to select the theme of the display for night/day. (Not operational when auto-dimming.)
	Available to operate the power off of AVN.
	Displays the currently playing media and media sound.
	Available to set the screen brightness of the AVN.

About the MENU screen

MENU Screen

Mode	Description
	Available to listen to FM/AM/DAB (EU ONLY) stations.
	Available to play music from a connected bluetooth device.
	Available to play music, video, and image files stored in USB memory.
	Available to play music, video and image files stored inside the AVN.
	Switches to the dial screen and available to make calls by connecting a Bluetooth device.
	Switches to Navigation mode and move to the current location. (AVN only)

Mode	Description
	Adjusts the sound for sleeping in the back seat.
	Available to check the Web manual that explains AVN's features in detail.
	Available to operate the air conditioner.
	Available to set various functions of AVN system in the Settings.
	Available to use vehicle settings.
	Apple CarPlay is available.

Mode	Description
	Android Auto is available.
	EV Mode is available.

Steering Wheel Controller

Button	Description
	In any mode Each press of the key will change the mode in order of Radio → USB Media → My Media → Bluetooth Music mode. (If the media device is not connected, corresponding modes will be disabled.) In Radio mode Press and hold to change the radio mode in order of FM1→AM → DAB (EU only) mode. In Media mode Press and hold the switch to change to mode in order of USB Music → Video → Image mode.
	Press up/down to adjust the volume.
	While playing Press up/down to move the previous/next file. In Radio mode Press up/down to move the previous/next preset. Press and hold up/down to move the previous/next broadcast frequency.
	Operates Bluetooth Handsfree mode. Press and hold the key to end the call.
	Turns Mute feature On/Off. Press the key during a call to block outgoing sound. (Mic Mute) Press and hold (more than 1.5 seconds) to turn off the power.
	In Apple CarPlay mode operates Siri. In Android Auto mode operates Google Voice Recognition.

Safety Cautions

• Do not disassemble or modify this device. Such acts may result in accidents, fire or electric shock.
• Please be careful not to introduce water or foreign matter inside the product. Such may be the cause of fumes, ignition, or device malfunction.
• If a problem occurs, such as foreign matter entering the device or device exposure to water or smoke, stop use immediately and contact your dealer or a designated maintenance center. Not doing so may result in device malfunction.
• Do not use the device under faulty conditions such as no display or sound. Such may result in accidents (fire, electric shock, etc.) or critical product malfunction.
• When operating this device, do not operate in no-stop or no-parking zones. Such acts may result in accidents.

Safety Warnings

• Device operation while driving may lead to traffic accidents. When operating the device, first park your vehicle in a safe place. For safety reasons, some features may be disabled while the vehicle is in motion and enabled when the vehicle is parked.
• This device is a product specifically designed for use in automobiles. To change the mounting position of the system, please inquire with your place of purchase or service center. Installing or disassembling the device requires technical understanding.
• When cleaning the touch screen, turn off the power and wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use hard cloths, chemical mops or organic solvents (alcohol, benzene, thinner, etc.) as they may scratch or alter the surface of the panel. If any problem occurs with the product, please contact the dealer or service center to take action.
• Do not subject the device to excessive impact. Direct pressure to the front of the monitor may damage the LCD panel and touch panel.
• Operating the device for prolonged periods of time with the engine turned off will display an electrical discharge warning on the screen. Be sure to operate the system with the engine running.

• The product is designed for DC 14V negative-ground vehicle use only. Do not use non-standard power supplies.
  
• Do not use gasoline, thinner, benzene, or organic solvents, to clean the unit.
  

The preset memory is cleared to the default factory state when the power connector or battery is disconnected.
