    Hardware Description The Patriot E / Patriot L reader is a fully integrated reader with a built-in antenna packaged in a weather- tight, UV protected housing. The antenna allows it to work in AVI and asset management applications and its programmable triggering modes enable the reader to work in either self-triggering (timed) or external trigger mode.

    Aim the reader toward the zone of desired • coverage. The image below shows how the bracket looks assembled on a pole, with a Patriot E mounted for example. Use a 3/8” (10 cm) wrench to install the bracket. Tag Installation in Vehicles Always mount tags vertically whenever possible.
