Congratulations on the purchase of your new machine! We strive for content customers, so we want
to help you get to know your new acquisition well. This manual is intended to help you with that.
As a basic guide for the first steps with the PC, we enclose this manual, which contains all
information about the connections of your PC and the initial setup of Windows 10 and Windows 11.

  • Page 2 THE PACKAGING We pack our PCs in an inner and an outer carton, the space in between is filled with recyclable packing chips. The PCs are housed in a plastic bag and held in the inner carton by two large, precisely fitting pieces of Styrofoam.
  • Page 3 CONNECTORS – GRAPHICS The graphics connectors are used for image output and are connected to the monitor via a cable. There are ANALOG graphic interfaces like the VGA connector and DIGITAL graphic interfaces like the HDMI connector, the DisplayPort connector and the DVI connector. Digital graphics interfaces offer superior image quality compared to analog signals and should therefore be preferred.
  • Page 4 DVI-D cable and DVI-D connector: Digital image signals can be transmitted via the DVI-D interface. The maximum image resolution depends on whether it is a Single Link or Dual Link connection, Dual Link can transmit resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz / 1920 x 1080 at 144 Hz. Single Link can transmit resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz.
  • Page 5 CONNECTORS – SOUND The standard audio ports are used for stereo sound output (light green), connecting a microphone or headset (pink) and connecting an external sound source via 3.5mm jack plugs (light blue). These connections are usually on the back of the PC, but can also be on the front or top. There are additional connections for multi-channel sound systems: A connector for rear speakers (black), a connector for the subwoofer (orange) and a connector for the center speakers (gray/silver).
  • Page 6 CONNECTORS – USB and S-ATA The USB interface is the most common connection between PC and external devices such as hard drives, keyboards, memory sticks and many more. This interface was introduced as version USB 1.0 in 1996 and has always been developed further. In 2019, USB 4 was introduced as the latest version so far.

  • Page 8 9) Now you have the choice whether to accept the Microsoft license agreement and continue with the setup or to reject the license agreement and look for another operating system. Unfortunately, the installation will only continue if you accept the following. 10) Here you can specify whether you use the PC primarily yourself or whether it belongs to an organization (library, school, business, etc.).
  • Page 9 Setting up Windows 11 on the PC Before setting up your PC for the first time, please make sure what operating system is installed. The following steps apply to Windows 11 only. After your PC is properly connected to the monitor and you have made sure that the power plug is properly housed in a power outlet, you can turn it on for the first time.

  • Page 12 INSTALLATION OF A RAM BAR IN YOUR PC While installing a RAM bar into the computer, it is important to note the following steps: 1. Ensure that the RAM bar is inserted the right way round. The notch marked in red in the picture must match the plastic nose in the memory bank.
  • Page 13 INSTALLATION OF A SSD/HDD IN YOUR COMPUTER Requires an SSD or hard disk, a free S-ATA port and a free power connection. 1) Insert the S-ATA cable with a plug into a free S-ATA port on the mainboard. 2) Take the SSD/hard disk in hand and prepare power connector and S-ATA connector. 3) House the free plug of the S-ATA cable and the power plug into the SSD 4) Ensure that the two plugs are well housed.
  • Page 14 INSTALLATION OF A GRAPHICS CARD WITH/WITHOUT POWER CONNECTOR Requires a graphics card, a free PCI-Express slot, a free power cable (if required) and screws for fastening the graphics card as well as a screwdriver. 1) Prepare the installation: Remove or open any expansion card locks / slot bezels on the back of the PC so that the graphics card can be easily placed in the PCI-E slot.
