Mounting the Media Player
3. Connect device wiring as required,
according to the diagrams on the
previous pages:
• Run the HDMI cable through the
front plate cable tie and into the
HDMI Out port, as shown.
• Assemble the GPIO Terminal Block
and run door trigger and power/
ground wires through the rear plate
cable tie as shown.
4. Tighten the cable ties on the front and
rear mounting plates until the HDMI and
GPIO connectors are supported and
secure.

Displays when device powered up and not in reset mode (flashes during
firmware updates).
Bsy
Green
Flashes when there is file-system activity (on any storage device).
Blue
Flashes when the player is connecting to the wireless network. Displays when
connected.
WiFi
Err
Red
Flashes a certain number of times to indicate an error. Please contact Technical
Support for flash code details.
Service & Support
If your media player is to be returned for service, please contact the Safe Fleet technical support team, provide
the part and serial # of your unit, and ask for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
An RMA # allows the support team to better track your product when it comes in for service. Please show the
RMA # on the outside of the package.
ANY PRODUCT SENT WITHOUT AN RMA# MAY BE REFUSED!

Quick Installation Guide
† Some installations may include the following
modifications to typical Kit contents:
• GPIO Mounting Plate and Mounting Screws
(#8 x 3/4, self-drilling, Qty 4) removed.
• HDMI Mounting Plate hardware added:
8-32 x 3/8 pan head Phillips screws and locknuts
(Qty. 2 each)
• Cable ties, Qty. 2 (versus 4)
• Hook and Loop Adhesive Strips, Qty. 4
Installation Environment
• Install electrical wiring carefully. This should be
done by qualified service personnel.
• Route wiring and cables away from sharp edges
that might damage insulation. Avoid sharp
bends in cables.
IMPORTANT: Exposure to Humidity
Exposing a cold player to warm air at high relative humidity
may cause water to condense inside the player, leading to
component failure. If a player is cold, allow several hours for it
to acclimatize to ambient conditions before applying power.
