- Page 3 Look upon my tones, ye mighty, and despair! Two vast and trunkless switches does Ozymandias boast. On the face of it, Ozymandias is a fairly simple stacked overdrive that offers a plethora of usage options – from a clean boost with unparalleled headroom to full bore bourbon-swilling crunch, this one rules them all.
- Page 4 BASICS POWER The Ozymandias requires a 9V-12V DC power supply. The polarity doesn’t matter, it accepts both +ve and -ve center power supplies. The Ozymandias draws upto 200mA of power. INPUTS AND OUTPUTS POWER: 9-12V DC input power, either polarity.
- Page 5 CONTROLS BOTH CHANNELS ON (SERIES or PARALLEL) FLAIL CHANNEL (RIGHT) CROOK CHANNEL (LEFT) FAT, FULLRANGE VOICING VOICED FOR UPPER MIDS STATUS LED KNOBSvvvvvvv GAIN: Self-explanatory. Turn it up, get more distortion, melt faces. TONE: Acts as a treble cut. Note that the CROOK channel is darker. VOLUME: Sets the output level for the channel.
- Page 6 Output Buffer ON. In this case, note that the output can be VERY loud - keep the volume level down low to prevent clipping or damaging inputs! NOTE: Even with the BUFFERS off, Ozymandias is not really true bypass. (And we couldn’t give a shit.) Each CHANNEL has relay true bypass.

- Page 8 ROUTING: CRAFTY TRICKS Wanna go halfsies with your bandmate? We got you covered. Two instruments can theoretically be routed through the pedal. Use SERIES Mode for this. NOTE: Depending on your setup, you may encounter ground loops. And yes, we did mean instruments - why restrict yourself to guitar? See the example below for one way (of many) to process a drum machine which is equipped with individual/group outputs.

- Page 11 CARE Here are a few pointers to keep your Ozymandias in the best shape possible: 1. While upgrading firmware, please connect the USB-C cable before connecting the DC power to avoid any issues. 2. Do not eat your Ozymandias. 3. Do not put it into a washing machine, or shower with it. If you really feel the need to clean it, wipe it down with a dry soft cloth.
- Page 12 • Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Altering the pedal in any way not authorized by Animal Factory Amplification. • Any damage caused to any other devices or people stemming from incorrect use of the pedal, or setting the output volume too high. Again: this thing is LOUD!
- Page 13 Ozymandias was shelved, but a simplified version of the FLAIL channel was released as our immensely successful Pit Viper pedal. Ten years on, in 2024, we have built upon the Ozymandias as a more complete, refined product that we truly feel has earned its name.
