injuries or fatalities in the event of a
collision. Hence, it is essential to al-
ways use the appropriate child seat
for infants. It is recommended that
children under four years old use
rear-facing child safety seats.
Senior children
Senior children who are beyond the
range of child safety seats shall wear
safety belts.
The instructions attached to child re-
straint system states the weight and
height limits for the child sitting in it.
Children who meet the following ap-
plicable conditions are required to use
a child seat in conjunction with a seat
belt:
Sit as far back in the seat as possi-

ble. Children should not bend their
knees at the edge of the seat.
Fasten the seat belt. Shoulder strap

should not be placed on children's
shoulders.
The seat belt should not be worn
y
down and close to the child's hip.
Failure to keep the seat belt on

properly while driving.
Seats and Protective Devices
Senior children should fasten seat belts
correctly. It is forbidden to put the seat
belt across the child's face or neck and
the seat belt must be held close to the
children's hips to provide additional
protection in the event of accidents.
Never wear a seat belt around the ab-
domen. This may cause serious injury
in the event of accidents.
In the event of accidents, children
who are not wearing seat belts can hit
others or be thrown out of the vehicle,
resulting in serious injury or death.
It is forbidden for two children
to share a safety belt, otherwise
the safety belt will not be able to
disperse the impact force correctly,
which will cause serious casualties
in the event of a crash.
