TX2FX-11/-12/-13/-14 Copper to Fiber Ethernet Media Converter
The TX2FX-11/-12/-13/-14 are Copper to Fiber Ethernet Media Converters, supporting 10/100/1000MBit
Copper and 100MBit-FX or 1000MBit-X SFP (Small Form factor Pluggable) Module.
The TX2FX-11 is designed for external media converters, since the connectors are on the same side.
The TX2FX-12 is the ideal solution for build-in Media converters, where the SFP port is on the opposite side of
the Copper port.
The TX2FX-13 and the TX2FX-14 have an additionally Copper port, which makes the TX2FX to a little switch
with 2 Copper Ports and one SFP slot.
All Copper ports are available on RJ45, lockable 2mm vertical Header or lockable 2mm right angled Header.
A special variant is the TX2FX-14 which has an RJ45 on the same side as the SFP slot and either a vertical or
a right angled 2mm lockable Header.
The TX2FX supports a wide input voltage range from 5V up to 36V (Rev. D PCB only).
This allows to connect the power of the TX2FX directly to the system input power, which can be useful in a
Wake on LAN (WoL) application, without the need of a standby Voltage from the system.
The robust design of the TX2FX makes it the perfect solution for industrial environments.
